Yearbook November 4th

FIRST: Short class discussion

SECOND: Today is the last day of the six weeks. There are three things I would like by the end of the day:
  • Your page as complete as it can be; finish as much of it as you can. Place a sticky on your page, on it list anythings that still need to be completed on your page, why they haven't been yet, and what the plan is for that.
  • Think about (NOT asking you to write out your answers): I would like you to think about each question, read all the way through, and keep them in consideration as you reflect in our blog. How would you evaluate your work effort in yearbook? Does it reflect your capabilities, or does it fall short of what you could do? How on task are you during class? Do you come in and work til the last minute, or do you start late and close out early? How does this affect what you get done? How well have you worked with and co-operated with others? What attitude do you have toward what you need to get done and toward others? How does this affect your work? Do you pay attention to and follow verbal and written instruction? How is your page going? If it isn't quite there yet, who's shortcomings are these? Did you provide others with enough time to do as you ask, or did you wait for things to pile up? Did they work diligently on what they needed to, or did they play while their tasks piled up? Or are the shortcomings just due to circumstance? What can you do to in order to circumvent these issues? What is something you feel you've done really well with? What is something you struggle with?
  • self reflection of this six weeks: Based on your thoughts from the previous question, blog about what grade you feel you deserve (I'm not asking what grade you want) in this class? Why? What supporting thoughts can you provide? If this does not match what you would like, then what can you do about it?

BTW; this weekend is the time change for daylight savings; if your intending to take pictures before school, next week will have the most light in the mornings until spring.

Don't forgot your daily blog post at the end of class!
