Blog- Self Evaluation
Evaluate your blog on the rubric. Write the category (the words on the left in the document), and then how many points you think you earned in that category (0-4). Start at 1, and read to the right, toward 4. If a cell starts with 'and' then you have to meet the requirements for that cell, and the one before it.
WYSIWYG
When you are typing your blog, the editor you are using (the box you are typing in) is a WYSIWYG editor. What is WYSIWYG? It's an acronym.
What You See Is What You GetIt means that what you see in the editor (the big box you type in) is very similar to what you'll see when you click publish. Did you notice how I switched fonts, font color, used bold and italics, changed alignment (centered text), hotlinks, the bullets below, and a quote (above: what you see is what you get)?
Use at least 5 of the list below:
- different fonts
- changing font colors
- bold fonts
- italic fonts
- different alignments
- bullets or a numbered list
- quotes
- hotlinks
- an image
Pages
Your next project will be in the mac program 'Pages'. Use your remaining time to play with pages. Try to figure out how it works, play with layouts, images, and etc. Having trouble? Check out Apple's Pages tutorials. At the end of the period reflect on what you learned about pages.
