Today will be divided into 4 parts.
1st- Refreshing on photography concepts.
Can you remember these photography concepts from the video clip last class (as well as from earlier in the year)?
- Balancing Elements
- Creating Depth or Space
- Fill the Frame
- Framing
- Leading Lines
- Pattern
- Symmetry
- Texture
- Rule of Thirds
- Unusual View Angles
2nd- Examples of Photography Concepts
Post a photo example of each of the concepts on your blog. Below each photo, label what concept it exemplifies. You may use the internet to find and post pictures. For Rule of Thirds, do NOT use a picture that has the grid on it.
3rd- In the link below is a photo shoot by one of the editors. Using your understanding of photography, select the top five photos and make sure you can defend why you chose them. The forth part will further explain what to do with your selection of five. For now, just hang on until the last part is posted.
4th- Get together with your team and discuss the top 5 photos members selected. As a team, come to an agreement on the top five. When your team has decided and is ready to defend your selection, let me know.
Waiting for the next part?
